oh hello!
my name is emily molyneux, and i’m the face behind ekm.design! i’m a neurodivergent creative living on unceded lək̓ʷəŋən territory. i was born and raised in calgary, alberta by an architect father and an artist mother, which probably explains a lot. i moved to victoria, BC in 2010 and consider myself a west coaster at heart.
i graduated top of my class from camosun college in 2016 with a visual arts diploma, and received several awards, including the jessie a. forsyth memorial award of excellence and the bc arts council grant.
after working for over a decade in a retail environment as an optician, i finally decided to put my art degree to use and started ekm.design in the fall of 2022. i specialize in logo design and branding, advertising, merchandising, and illustration.
